Parkside Dental Practice is pleased to announce that Maggie McGowan RGN, RM, IHM, INP will be joining the practice in January 2011. Maggie is a registered nurse, working in the field of Facial Aesthetics with over 14 years full time experience in cosmetic treatments and procedures designed to rejuvenate the face, neck and hands.

Maggie qualified as a nurse at good hope hospital, then a midwife at Marston Green Hospital. A number of promotions lead to her being responsible for Maternity, Gynaecology and Paediatrics at St Cross and St Mary’s hospitals in Rugby. Maggie left the NHS in 1996 having trained in Medical Aesthetics.

Having worked in Harrods, Maggie now holds 32 busy clinics throughout the UK. She is considered an international opinion leader in the field of Aesthetic Medicine and has worked for leading Aesthetic manufactures training doctors and nurses in Brazil, Malta and Finland.

Maggie is trained to an advanced level in the use of several dermal fillers, muscle relaxants and treatments that stimulate the body’s own collagen to smooth lines and wrinkles to achieve optimal results. Using a combination of advanced and sophisticated techniques Maggie can also achieve eye brow lifts, cheek augmentation, lip enhancement and jaw line and platysma band improvements.

The extensive range of Aesthetic dental treatment at Parkside Dental Practice includes tooth whitening, orthodontic treatment with Invisalign and smile make over’s using the latest generation of all ceramic restorations.
