Parkside Dental Practice is pleased to offer a comprehensive orthodontic service. The Team is lead by Mr Jonathon Pugh who has many years experience in providing orthodontic treatment. All the dentists at Parkside are general practitioners with a keen interest in orthodontic treatments.

If your dentist refers you to our practice you will be invited to attend for an initial assessment. At this appointment we will discuss possible orthodontic treatments. To help prepare for this visit please would you read the enclosed information in our most “frequently asked question”.

We will endeavour to answer any further questions or concerns you may have. By attending for an initial assessment you are in no way committed to accepting treatment. However if you really feel “braces” are not for you we will be of little help!

For many, orthodontic treatment simply means wearing a brace. Easy, no big deal. Unfortunately the reality can be quite different, whilst orthodontics has a lot to offer, it is not without potential problems and will require a major commitment from you. Orthodontic treatment takes time and it is not unusual to be in treatment for several years. Regular appointments are necessary and this may mean taking time off work or school.

Please bring a tooth brush to all your visits to our practice as we like to examine clean teeth and often use disclosing solution. Keeping your teeth clean during your treatment is very important to prevent tooth decay or gum disease.
